Here is a view of the finished pond. Well, its not completely finished, I still need to add some water plants and a pump. I want to get a solar powered one, so I don't have to run electricity across the yard, but those aren't easy to find. But the pond is full of water, and surrounded with rocks, so I'm claiming victory. It has a mosquito dunk in it now to prevent the little buggers (although if I get mosquitos, maybe I will get bats for my bathouse....), and I got a pool skimmer to fish out the leaves and grass that get into it. It looks great in my backyard. We did a good job.
