September is National Preparedness Month, so we had a Prepare Fair at work today. There were a bunch of booths with local and federal programs that respond during emergencies, like FEMA and CERT. I got a free emergency blanket from one booth. They are good to keep in first aid kits, and I have kits in my house, my car, my backpack, etc.

There were also firetrucks and ambulances and a police attack truck. The truck was really cool. It was a Super Duty with a lot of armor plating, gun ports, a gun turret, and a battering ram.
